D'atè Culture Foundation presents the first-ever Dance Education and Entrepreneurial Practices Convention (DEEP CON) 2021. DEEP CON is a two-day gathering for Kaduna-based emerging dance artists to learn various entrepreneurial tools to advance their careers as dance artists. Artists will be exposed to a variety of opportunities within the profession of dance, learning how to financially sustain arts careers in Kaduna State and globally, create community with other Kaduna-based dancers, and have the opportunity to inter-face with other practitioners throughout the African Diaspora.
DEEP CON '21 features discussions, workshops, and performances from professional artists and practitioners in different fields from Nigeria and throughout the Diaspora. Featured guests include Qudus Onikeku (USA), Osubi Craig (University of Florida, USA), Joseph Ike (KD), Dolapo Popoola (KD), Brianna Alexis Heath (USA), Yahaya Audu (KD). The event is scheduled for December 17-18, 2021 at Space 2000 Egypt Rd. Barnawa, Kaduna.
Registration is FREE and open to the public.
